Wastewater treatment plants, city sewage systems and water supply stations basically share the same odor characteristics, H₂S and nitrogen derivatives like ammonia.

In sewage systems, especially in long horizontal lines, the solid wastes in water settle when the flow rate decreases. By time, these wastes overlap, creating layers that contain an anaerobic environment which releases foul odor. Similar to that, in water supply stations; wastes settling in the transfer pit by time, shake and release odorous gases, especially when flow rate increases back.

In water supply stations that have enough space, Neutroair can be applied using dry vaporizing or wet type misting processes, in smaller stations that does not have enough space to setup the machinery or sewage smokestacks, we provide odor neutralization using gel type neutralizer by unequipped controlled release.
